About The Position

Responsible for assembling, inspecting, and packaging plastic lids or closures used in manufacturing processes. This role involves working with small components, operating basic machinery, and ensuring products meet quality standards in a fast-paced production environment.

Requirements

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
  • Good hand-eye coordination and attention to detail
  • Basic understanding of quality control processes
  • Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team
  • Physical stamina to stand for long periods and perform repetitive tasks
  • Basic math and counting skills
  • Willingness to work 12-hour shifts, including weekends or holidays if needed
  • Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods (up to 12 hours per shift) on concrete floors in a production environment.
  • Regularly required to lift and carry materials, and packaging supplies weighing up to 40 lbs
  • Frequent bending, stooping, and kneeling to set up printing equipment, load materials, and perform maintenance tasks
  • Occasional reaching overhead or below waist level to access supplies and equipment
  • Must have fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination to operate printing machinery, adjust settings, and manage small components with precision
  • Ability to read print specifications, and computer screens.
  • Must be able to hear equipment alerts and verbal instructions in a moderately noisy environment
  • May be exposed to ink fumes, cleaning chemicals, heat, humidity, and moderate to high noise levels typical of injection molding and printing operations
  • Must be able to safely navigate production areas, and storage zones with good balance and coordination

Nice To Haves

  • Previous production experience is preferred
  • Ability to read, write and communicate in English would be a plus
  • Familiarity with safety standards (OSHA guidelines)

Responsibilities

  • Assemble plastic lids or related components according to specifications and production
  • Inspect finished products for defects, such as cracks, deformities, or improper sealing
  • Operate and monitor assembly line equipment and tools safely
  • Perform routine quality checks to ensure products meet company standards
  • Package finished lids for shipment or further processing
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area (5S standards)
  • Follow all safety guidelines and company procedures
  • Report equipment malfunctions or production issues to supervisors
  • Meet daily production targets and efficiency goals
  • Assist with basic machine setup or adjustments when required
