About The Position

Join a manufacturing team in Romeoville, IL, as an Assembly Worker assembling industrial products. This is a temp-to-hire opportunity where you can earn $19.89 per hour and build valuable skills. The role involves assembling industrial hoses, fittings, and related components, using hand tools and assembly equipment, inspecting finished products, and maintaining a clean and safe workstation. You will collaborate with team members to meet production goals and ensure high standards of safety and quality.

Requirements

  • Ability to work the regular 2nd Shift schedule (3:30 PM – 12:00 AM) and attend initial training on 1st Shift (7:00 AM – 3:30 PM).
  • Ability to follow written and verbal instructions and established safety procedures.
  • Basic mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn manufacturing and assembly processes.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality products.
  • Ability to use or learn to use basic hand tools and measuring equipment.
  • Ability to perform repetitive assembly tasks and meet the physical demands of the position, with or without reasonable accommodation.
  • Dependable attendance, teamwork, and a positive attitude toward workplace safety.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous experience in manufacturing, production, assembly, or general labor.
  • Experience working with industrial hose products, metal components, or mechanical assemblies.
  • Familiarity with hand tools, measuring devices, and production equipment.
  • Previous experience reading work instructions, assembly diagrams, or production specifications.
  • Experience performing quality inspections in a manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

  • Assemble industrial hoses, fittings, and related components according to production specifications and work instructions.
  • Use hand tools, measuring instruments, and assembly equipment to accurately complete manufacturing tasks.
  • Inspect finished products and components for defects, proper fit, and quality standards.
  • Follow production orders, assembly instructions, and established manufacturing procedures to meet daily production goals.
  • Prepare materials, organize parts, and maintain an efficient workflow throughout the assembly process.
  • Report product defects, equipment issues, and safety concerns to supervisors promptly.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized workstation while following company safety procedures.
  • Collaborate with production team members and supervisors to complete quality products on time.
