Assembly Worker, 2nd Shift

About The Position
We are looking for self-motivated and safety-conscious candidates to join our production team in Jacksonville, FL. New employees can earn up to 60K in total compensation for a 40-50 hour work week, which includes base rate, shift differential, overtime, retention and production bonuses. There are additional earning opportunities through referral bonuses and mentoring incentives. This is a full-time position with benefits.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED.
- Six months experience in a heavy manufacturing environment, steel industry preferred.
- Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out written and oral instructions.
- Must be able to work all shift schedules.
Responsibilities
- Sets up jigs, reads and interprets shop drawings necessary for such work.
- Moves parts into position.
- Aligns parts.
- Tack welds or clamps parts into position ready for moving along conveyor to final welding area.
- Perform other job-related duties as assigned by supervisor including, but not limited to, cleaning, metal scrap removal and other joist assembly-related activities.
