About The Position

Nesco Resource is seeking Assembly Workers for a long-term client in Auburn Hills, MI. The first shift runs from 5:00 AM to 1:30 PM, Monday through Friday. This role involves assisting with various tasks including assembly, inspection, and maintaining a clean workspace.

Requirements

Regularly required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel; and reach with hands and arms.
Frequently required to walk.
Occasionally required to talk or hear.
Lift and/or move up to 10 pounds.
Specific vision abilities required include close vision and the ability to adjust focus.
Regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts.
Moderate noise level in the work environment.

Responsibilities

Keeps work station and the area around work station neat and orderly.
Understands and follows all quality instructions, work instructions, and procedures.
Accurately and legibly records information on quality and production-related paperwork.
Understands and properly uses all safety devices and equipment at all times.
Capable of working as part of a team and a commitment to support group decisions.
Understands and follows the principles and procedures of the company's Quality Policy.
Assembles metal products, partially or entirely, working a bench or on the shop floor.
Fastens parts together with bolts, screws, rivets, or other fasteners.
Removes small quantities of metal with hand files and scrapers to produce a close fit between parts.
Operates machine at production standard.
Inspects parts.
Sweeps floors, mops around machines, and cleans up immediate spills.
Removes trash.
