About The Position

We are seeking Assembly Welders for a full-time and permanent position at a local facility that focuses on metal fabrication. This role primarily involves assembly with some welding, and offers opportunities for advancement into more skilled welding roles. Immediate hire is available for qualified candidates. The pay rate is $22-$25 per hour, based on experience and interview performance. Health insurance, vision, and dental are available after 90 days of employment. Paid time off (PTO) is offered within the first 30 days of employment. The work schedule is Monday through Friday, with 8-10 hour days, and some Saturdays. Overtime is available, and employees are paid weekly.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of on-the-job welding experience.
• Ability to pass a weld test if needed.
• Proficiency in the use of power tools and other equipment.
• Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check.
• Willingness to work overtime if needed.

Responsibilities

• MIG welding on various types of material.
• Set up machine based on each task.
• Use of cutting tools and other related equipment.
• Operating forklifts and overhead crane (training will be provided).
• Read and interpret drawings.
• Keep work station clean and organized.
