Requirements
- High School Degree/GED required, Associates Degree a plus
- 2+ years of experience in general electronics assembly required
- Ability to understand assembly instructions and technical documentation
- Familiarity with hand assembly tools
- Experience with wiring assemblies preferred
- Basic assembly troubleshooting skills required
- Familiarity with Continuous Improvement/Lean Manufacturing concepts (5S, 8 Wastes, Kaizen, Standardized Work) a plus
- Applicants must be either a U.S. citizen, U.S. national, legal permanent resident, asylee, refugee or must be eligible to apply for and obtain the appropriate export control license from the U.S. Departments of State or Commerce.
Responsibilities
- Assemble and dis-assemble electrical and mechanical components and systems as required
- Test electrical and mechanical components and systems
- Collaborate with other functional teams during New Product Introduction builds
- Provide feedback to engineering and operations regarding first time assemblies
- Complete repair on assemblies that have failed during one of the post-assembly tests
- Assist in product validation
- Provide hands-on training to other Production Operators
- Participate in Continuous Improvement Kaizen
- Maintain 5S of your work area
- Other duties as assigned
