About The Position

The Company’s devices are used at the point-of-need to interrogate unknown and invisible materials and provide quick, actionable answers in vital health, safety and defense tech applications, addressing the fentanyl and illicit drug crisis, toxic carcinogen exposure, and global security threats. The Company designs and manufactures innovative products that bring together the power of complementary analytical technologies, software automation, and machine learning. This position is 40hrs/week, located in Danbury, CT. We strongly value hard work, focus and attention to detail, and we foster an extremely collaborative environment, but also seek candidates able to work effectively with minimal supervision.

Requirements

• A minimum of 2 years of experience in a manufacturing test environment.
• Ability to follow detailed work instructions and multitask.
• Organized with strong attention to detail.
• Experience using basic lab equipment such as digital multimeters, power supplies, stereomicroscopes, torque tools, pin gauges, etc.
• Reliable, hardworking, and able to work independently.
• Computer literate, comfortable with electronic documentation.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Good time management skills.

Nice To Haves

• Associates degree in Mechanical/Electrical Technology or similar preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assemble and test our handheld Field Forensics products.
• Produce and evaluate our MX908, ProtectIR, ExplorIR, VipIR, and ThreatID products.
• Follow defined procedures and work instructions.
• Prepare data including test and quality reports.
• Visual inspection and quality assurance sampling.
• Troubleshoot production issues and assist in continuous improvement of assembly and test processes.
• Work closely with the Manufacturing Engineering team.

Benefits

• The hourly base pay range for this position at the commencement of employment is expected to be between $22.00 and $24.00 per hour; the base pay offered may vary depending on several individualized factors, including market location, job-related skills, and experience.
• This position may also be eligible to receive additional long-term incentives.
