About The Position

The "Launch" program is a permanent role for ambitious graduates (Bachelors, Masters or PhD level) who are ready to make an impact from day one. This program offers on-the-job learning and career progression opportunities within the Assembly & Test team at Rolls-Royce Defense. The role involves providing manufacturing support to Assembly and Test activities, working across the full product and service life cycle to ensure product delivery for original equipment production and MRO. The position aims to drive improvements in quality, cost, and delivery, enhancing competitive and commercial performance.

  • Graduating between May 2026 and August 2026.
  • Minimum GPA: 3.0.

  • FAA Airframe & Powerplant certificate preferred.
  • Experience with electronic engine controls.

Responsibilities

  • Provide manufacturing support to Assembly and Test activities.
  • Work across the full product and service life cycle to ensure delivery of product to internal plan to meet commitments to customers in original equipment production and MRO.
  • Drive long-term improvements in quality, cost and delivery.
  • Ensure performance of preventive maintenance program for equipment and tools.
  • Interface with suppliers providing service to equipment.
  • Create manufacturing work orders, work plans, test plans and test procedures.
  • Specify tooling used for assembly and test.
  • Provide support to test engineering in the conduct of fuel system component testing.
  • Ensure calibration of tools and test instrumentation is up to date.
