About The Position

This role is responsible for the quality of their own work, performing tasks in accordance with Travelers/Operation sheets. The technician will be involved in various assembly processes, testing, and maintenance of equipment, while adhering to safety and housekeeping standards.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • 1-2 years mechanical assembly experience may be required.

Nice To Haves

  • Prior experience with complex aerospace parts is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Responsibility and authority for quality of own work.
  • Perform work in accordance with Travelers / Operation sheets.
  • Follow instructions on cleaning and drying the parts.
  • Perform various tests ensuring integrity & function of Part as a whole.
  • Threaded insert replacement.
  • Local surface treatment application.
  • Hand drilling using jigs.
  • Epoxy Application.
  • Assure that the production traveler is properly signed for accountability.
  • Use care in the handling of components.
  • Perform Preventive Maintenance on machines / equipment.
  • Responsible for care and use of calibrated measuring instruments and their timely return for required calibration.
  • Observe all Safety requirements in shop area and maintain good-housekeeping practices at all times.
  • Perform all other duties as required.
