About The Position

This is a temporary position for an Assembly Technician on the 2nd shift. The role involves performing complex mechanical assembly, fitting, aligning, and adjusting components to close tolerances. Responsibilities include troubleshooting, tear-down analysis, rework operations, and potentially performing marking operations. Training in Clean Room techniques may also be provided.

Requirements

  • Read, write, speak, and understand English.
  • Possess good manual dexterity.
  • Ability to work with detailed blueprints, procedures, assembly sketches, or other written/verbal instructions of simple complexity.
  • Basic math skills to calculate simple percentages regarding adjustment of set pressures.
  • Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
  • Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables where only limited standardization exists.
  • Perform moderate troubleshooting with minimal supervision.
  • Ability to embrace change and participate in continuous improvement activity.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in safety sensitive functions if position is designated for FAA Repair Station.

Responsibilities

  • Perform mechanical assembly, fitting, aligning, and adjusting components and/or assemblies to close tolerance.
  • Apply knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, fluids, and/or electronic principles with soldering expertise.
  • Perform troubleshooting, tear down analysis, and rework operations.
  • Potentially be trained/proficient in Clean Room techniques.
  • Perform various marking operations using machines, hand stamp, and electro etching equipment.
  • Perform all other duties as assigned.
