This position involves assembling large mechanical parts, pieces, or products using a variety of tools and equipment according to required specifications in a specific area of the production floor.

Requirements

High School Diploma/GED.
Solid math skills.
Use of a power tools.
Use of hand tools and measuring equipment.
Knowledge of overhead crane and forklift operation.
Previous experience with blueprint reading.

Nice To Haves

1 – 2 yrs automotive mechanic experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Assemble large mechanical parts, pieces or products using a variety of tools and equipment according to required specifications in a specific area of the production floor.
Screws, nuts & bolts, rivets and other fasteners.
Plumbing PVC, galvanized, SS pipes and fittings.
Pneumatic hose/tube.
Routing hydraulic, pneumatic, water hose/tube/pipe.
Assemble customer requested options.
Read blueprints, hydraulic and pneumatic schematics.
May be asked to assemble a specific part on a regular basis such as an auger, belt or shaft.
