About The Position

Control Panels USA is seeking an Assembly Technician to join our growing team. The Assembly Technician will be responsible for laying out, assembling, and wiring electrical control panels and relay racks. This is a full-time onsite position.

Requirements

2+ years of assembly or manufacturing experience
High School Diploma / GED
Attentive to details
Produces high quality workmanship
Efficient, loyal, courteous, respectful, positive attitude
Great communication skills
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk, hear, use hands and fingers, reach with hands and arms, sit and stand.
The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
Successful completion of background check

Nice To Haves

Knowledge of electrical theory and/or electrical assembly is a plus, but we can teach this
The ability to read schematics is a plus, but we can teach this

Responsibilities

Assembling parts and components using hand and power tools.
Cut and connect cables and/or wires to panels.
Label wires and components as well as install tags and associated labels on the panel boxes.
Install company name plates and any identification labels and/or tags.
Measure parts to determine tolerances, using measuring instruments.
Aid with inspecting, testing, point to point, adjusting and correcting issues found in testing to ensure units meet specifications, tolerances and customer requirements.
Study and learn to read schematics in order to diagnose issues with drawings and functionality of the panels.
