About The Position

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Assembly Technician to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for the assembly, maintenance, and testing of jet engines and systems. You will work closely with engineers and other technicians to ensure the highest standards of quality and safety are met. This is a once in a lifetime opportunity to join our dynamic team and help create a brand-new jet engine manufacturing facility in Atlanta that serves our military to be on the forefront for new UAVs.

Requirements

• Associate degree in Aerospace Technology, Aviation Maintenance, or a related field.
• Experience in the automobile assembly field of 3+ years can substitute an associate's degree.
• Proven experience as an Aerospace Technician or similar role.
• Strong understanding of aerospace systems and components.
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical manuals and blueprints.
• Must be able to lift 50 pounds and work standing for up to 8hrs per day.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• U.S. citizens and lawful permanent residents, as defined under applicable federal regulations.

Nice To Haves

• Lean manufacturing experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assemble, install, test and repair jet engine components and systems.
• Conduct routine maintenance and inspections on jet engine equipment.
• Perform diagnostic tests and troubleshooting issues with engine systems.
• Read, interpret, and follow detailed technical manuals and blueprints to ensure accurate assembly and repair.
• Collaborate with engineers to implement and improve testing procedures.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance and repair work.
• Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and industry standards.
• Operate and maintain specialized tools and equipment.
