About The Position

We are hiring an Assembly Technician for our East Houston client. We are looking for dependable, mechanically inclined professionals who are ready to interview immediately. This is a temp-to-hire position with overtime opportunities.

Requirements

• Previous experience in mechanical assembly, fabrication, or a related industrial environment preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, and assembly instructions.
• Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and measuring equipment.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety.
• Must be able to stand for extended periods and lift up to 45 pounds.
• Ability to work overtime and weekends when required.

Responsibilities

• Assemble mechanical components and subassemblies according to work instructions, drawings, and specifications.
• Gather tools, materials, and parts needed to complete production assignments.
• Inspect completed assemblies using measuring tools to ensure quality standards are met.
• Troubleshoot minor assembly issues and communicate concerns to supervisors as needed.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
