2nd Shift Assembly Technicians
About The Position
Volt is immediately hiring 2nd Shift Assembly Technicians in Fremont, CA. As an Assembly Technician, you will be responsible for assembling, disassembling, and swapping out components on computer servers. This role also involves assisting in the refurbishment of computer servers and utilizing hand tools such as screwdrivers and wrenches. The position requires working in a safe manner, attending all training and safety meetings, and maintaining a neat and tidy workstation according to 5S practices. You will also need to ensure your workstation is equipped with all necessary tools, consumables, fixtures, and parts, and report any issues to your leader. Other duties may be assigned by your leader or supervisor.
Requirements
- High School Diploma
- Able to read/write English language
- Assembly, Computer Repair, or experience building PC's
- Capable to lift 30-50lbs
- Class 10K Cleanroom
Responsibilities
- Assemble, disassemble and swap out components on computer servers
- Assist in refurbishing of computer servers
- Utilize hand tools such as screwdrivers, wrenches, etc.
- Work in a safe manner and inform leader of any unsafe or hazardous condition or practice
- Attend all task training and safety meetings as required
- Keep workstation in a neat and tidy condition conforming to established 5S work practices
- Check that workstation has all required tools/consumables/fixtures/parts and inform leader of any issues or missing material
- Perform other duties as assigned by leader or Supervisor
