About The Position

As an Assembly Technician, you will perform a variety of manual tasks to assemble complex fiber components into draw units that support our precision manufacturing processes. This is a great opportunity for someone who is detail-oriented, dependable, and eager to learn. Training will be provided for the right candidate with a strong work ethic and positive attitude.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent
Consistent work history and strong reliability
Proficiency in English, including speaking, comprehension, reading, and writing, at a level necessary to effectively perform job duties
Strong manual dexterity, fine motor skills, and visual acuity
Ability to lift, carry, and move up to 50 lbs
Must pass a pre-employment background check and drug screening
Reliable transportation to work required

Nice To Haves

Prior assembly experience in a manufacturing environment is a plus
Comfortable working with small, fragile components
Ability to follow detailed instructions and build complex assemblies
Experience using microscopes or precision inspection tools is a plus

Responsibilities

Assemble small and delicate components with precision to meet quality and customer requirements
Work with engineering teams on special product and project builds
Select appropriate materials, tools, and instructions needed for each assembly
Complete all necessary steps in the assembly process to ensure high-quality output
Accurately document production information and maintain records
Follow all safety procedures and use proper protective equipment
Read and interpret routing sheets and process documentation
Perform other related tasks as assigned
