About The Position

Plastiflex Group NC is seeking dependable, detail-oriented Assembly Technicians to join our production team in Statesville, NC. This hybrid role combines product assembly, quality inspection, packaging, and shipping preparation responsibilities to support efficient manufacturing operations. Nice To Haves

  • Previous assembly line, manufacturing, production, packaging, or warehouse experience preferred.
  • Experience using hand tools in a manufacturing environment is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Assemble products according to work instructions and production specifications.
  • Attach, connect, and secure components using hand tools and assembly equipment.
  • Operate assembly line equipment and assist in maintaining continuous production flow.
  • Perform visual and dimensional quality inspections to ensure products meet specifications.
  • Use measuring devices such as calipers, gauges, or micrometers when required.
  • Identify and report defective materials, equipment malfunctions, or safety concerns.
  • Follow all safety procedures and wear required PPE, including safety glasses, steel-toed shoes, and hearing protection.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
  • Work collaboratively with team members to meet daily production goals.
  • Support other production and warehouse functions as assigned.
  • Inspect finished products before packaging to verify quality standards.
  • Package finished goods according to customer and company requirements.
  • Label, box, palletize, and prepare products for shipment.
  • Verify product counts and packaging accuracy before shipping.
  • Maintain packaging supplies and organize finished goods inventory.
  • Assist with staging, loading, and movement of finished products within the facility.
