Requirements

  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Effective written, verbal and reading skills (English).
  • Must have successfully passed the company’s (3) month probationary period within the Assembly Test and Paint department and have a minimum of (6) months experience as an Assembler Level I. Or minimum (1) year experience in Wellhead ATP.
  • Will have periods of constant standing, walking or bending while on job sites.
  • The use of hands will be required to handle non-power tools such as hammers, wrenches, etc., and be able to assemble or disassemble objects.
  • As necessary, the role may require the handling and lifting of small components up to 50 lbs. safely.

Responsibilities

  • Be familiar with and adhere to all Safety and Company Policies and Procedures.
  • Knowledge of API/ISO/QPC’s and Engineering and Material Specifications as relevant.
  • Keep work area clean and organized.
  • Responsible for all equipment and tools in his/her charge, maintain and lubricate parts or components.
  • Operate and maintain tools and equipment in a safe, and conscientious manner.
  • Demonstrate appropriate knowledge of handling all materials and chemicals used.
  • Operate forklift in compliance with HSE-CS-128.
  • Assemble valves, wellheads and equipment per assembly drawing, instructions of ES as applicable. Follow work order process traveler requirements.
  • Hydro test per applicable ES.
  • Complete serial numbering of each part listed on the material traceability sheet in the work order as required.
  • Teardown, repair, and refurbishment of valve assemblies per SFI procedures.
  • Sign-off on process traveler, sequence number, operation number, machine number, production counts etc. per OP 205.
  • Report all problems and/or repairs required to Supervisor or Maintenance Coordinator.
  • Performs inventory checks every month for supplies and submits a requisition for re-order to ensure appropriate supplies are on hand.
  • Complete quality documentation accurately and legibly.
  • Assist shipping and receiving when required.
  • Other duties as assigned by Supervisor.
