About The Position

As an Assembly Technician, you will assist in building Adventure vehicles on Storyteller Overland’s MODE or HILT Production Team. You will take full ownership of ensuring to build quality products while being a team player and a superior brand ambassador of our reputation within our vibrant community of vanlifers, adventure seekers, and outdoor enthusiasts. Requirements

Strong mechanical skills
Ability to use various tools and equipment
Keen eye for detail to ensure accurate assembly and quality standards
Effective communication skills to collaborate with team members and convey assembly issues
Physical fitness required for lifting heavy components and standing for extended periods
High school diploma or GED

Nice To Haves

Previous automotive assembly experience
Carpentry, welding, electrician, HVAC, plumbing, and/or other skilled laborer experience
Construction experience
Manufacturing experience

Responsibilities

Perform precise assembly and production of RVs and adventure vehicles, including the installation of components such as cabinets, walls, plumbing fixtures, roof racks, wheels, appliances, and electrical systems, using a variety of hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment.
Monitor and maintain high-quality standards by thoroughly inspecting components and assemblies, promptly reporting any issues or discrepancies to the supervisory or quality production team.
Ensure efficient workflow by maintaining accurate stock levels in your station, anticipating material needs, and promptly requesting or replenishing supplies to avoid production delays.
Adhere strictly to all system procedures, company protocols, and safety standards to ensure a safe and efficient working environment.
Actively collaborate with team members to co-elevate the success of the production team by fostering a culture of teamwork, open communication, and mutual support.
Participate in ongoing training to improve skills, stay updated on new assembly techniques, and support process improvements.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment to promote efficiency and safety in all production activities.
Contribute to innovation by suggesting ideas for improving assembly techniques, workflows, or product quality.
Take pride in upholding Storyteller’s reputation by building products with the care and precision expected by the vanlife and adventure community.
