ASSEMBLY TECHNICIAN FINAL PRODUCTION LINE - 3rd SHIFT $2,000 HIRING BONUS Pay Range: $20 - $27 based on experience and skill set. 3rd Shift Hours: Mon - Thurs 8:00pm to 6:00am, OT scheduled as needed - $2/hour Shift Differential OVERALL SUMMARY Responsible for various types of installation mechanics. Elliott products are manufactured to customer drawings, specifications, or other forms of instruction for installation. Also includes custom installation of hydraulic valves, cylinders, and controls. Basic knowledge of 12v electrical systems and basic wiring techniques.

Requirements

  • Must have own tools
  • Knowledge of Hydraulics and 12v electrical
  • Mechanical aptitude
  • Ability to communicate with co-workers, supervisors, and various business contacts in a professional and courteous manner
  • Ability to attend to visual and written details in order to identify errors
  • Ability to function effectively as a team player
  • Communicates effectively both verbally and in writing
  • Good math and measurement skills
  • Ability to read and understand engineering drawings
  • Ability to manage several projects simultaneously
  • Must be self motivated
  • High School diploma, or equivalent
  • Previous mechanical experience required

Nice To Haves

  • Three years of Hydraulic knowledge in a job shop environment preferred but not required

Responsibilities

  • Interpretation of mechanical drawings
  • Conventional and precision measuring instruments
  • Process inspection, certification, and documentation
  • Builds and/or modifies equipment in accordance to established specifications to meet specific project requirements
  • Repairs and/or modifies existing and new products accordance with established specifications and procedures
  • Ensures proper care in the use and maintenance of equipment and supplies
  • Promotes continuous improvement of workplace safety and environmental practices
  • Punctual and regular attendance is required
  • Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned
