About The Position

Must be able to assemble, disassemble and repair specific product lines focusing on Hose production and assembly. To perform the job properly, the Assembly Technician – Hose Assembly must have basic product knowledge, an understanding of production procedures, and ability to use common hand and power tools. The position requires self-direction, focus, and a strong desire to work within a team environment.

Requirements

High School Diploma or GED.
Mechanical aptitude.
Familiarity with hand and power tools.
Detail oriented to provide the highest level of quality.
Strong sense of urgency and basic ability to prioritize in order to meet the expectations of the customer.

Nice To Haves

1 year of relevant work experience, preferred.

Responsibilities

Assemble fundamental components in accordance to the work instructions utilizing a combination of hand tools, power tools, and equipment.
Measure, cut and prepare hydraulic hoses in accordance with the work instructions utilizing a combination of hand tools, power tools and equipment.
Attach and secure various types of hose ends using crimping and assembly tools and equipment.
Assemble, kit and ship hydraulic hoses to meet established standards for quality, quantity, efficiency, and customer specifications consistently and correctly.
Communicate with appropriate parties in relation to expedited orders, component quality issues, inventory records, etc.
Participate in the implementation of process improvements.
Participate in maintaining and suggesting safety practices and procedures.
Maintain an orderly work environment.
Maintain system accuracy and record transactions in ERP operating system.
Participate as a team member to achieve goals.
Other duties as assigned.
