About The Position

FlowMark Vacuum Trucks is seeking Assembly Technicians to build industry-leading, custom light- and heavy-duty vacuum trucks to exacting standards of quality, safety, and performance. As an Assembly Technician, you will be a key part of the production team, responsible for assembling and installing critical systems that ensure each truck is reliable, durable, and customer-ready. This role involves hands-on work with a focus on craftsmanship and attention to detail, resulting in a finished product you can be proud of.

Requirements

  • Ability to read hydraulic, electrical, and pneumatic schematics
  • Strong mechanical aptitude with hand and power tools
  • Proficiency using drills, torque wrenches, angle grinders, and impact tools
  • Ability to accurately read and use a tape measure
  • Strong commitment to safety and quality
  • Good time management and ability to prioritize tasks
  • Dependable attendance and ability to work assigned shifts
  • Ability to work efficiently with multiple departments
  • High school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience
  • Minimum 2 years of mechanical or heavy-equipment experience
  • Experience working with 12V electrical systems
  • Ability to stand, walk, crawl, stoop, and reach throughout the workday
  • Frequent use of hands and arms for assembly work
  • Occasional ladder or step-stool use
  • Ability to inspect fine details of assembled equipment
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. regularly and up to 100 lbs. with assistance
  • Clear verbal and written communication skills

Responsibilities

  • Assemble, install, fit, align, and secure components and equipment on truck chassis
  • Follow build orders and change orders with precision and efficiency
  • Build every unit to FlowMark’s world-class quality standards
  • Read and interpret hydraulic, electrical, and pneumatic schematics
  • Install 12V electrical systems and specialized truck components
  • Verify finished work meets specifications and tolerances
  • Align, position, and torque components using proper tools and techniques
  • Move parts manually or with hoists, cranes, or lifting equipment
  • Accurately document work performed
  • Maintain tools, equipment, and a clean, organized workspace
  • Treat customer equipment with care and professionalism
  • Collaborate effectively with other departments to keep production moving
