About The Position

Assembly Technician Fast-paced custom manufacturing company located in New Castle, DE is seeking Assembly Technicians. Candidate will be responsible for the proper assembly and packing of staging parts and equipment using basic hand tools including drills, impact drills, mallets, hammers, screw drivers, de-burring tools and tape measures. After relocating to New Castle, Delaware, in 2003, the company expanded into a facility four times larger in 2013 to support its growing operations. Today, Staging Dimensions continues to lead in standard staging solutions while carving out a niche in custom fabrication. Its scenic division has delivered standout projects including: the Hot Wheels Double Dare Loop and Takeoff and Landing Ramp, scenic staging for the Papal Visit to Philadelphia and Washington, D.C., Camp Izzie Beverage Launch, a dual-hydraulic mechatronic structure for the Wings Lacrosse Team, and a hydraulic performance stage for The Starboard. Most recently, the company completed the custom fabrication and installation of N.C. Wyeth’s largest mural, Apotheosis of the Family, at Jamie Wyeth’s Point Lookout Farm in Delaware. Responsibilities

  • Must be able to read a tape measure ACCURATELY
  • Follow verbal and written instructions
  • Assist in assembling stage decks, carts, guardrails, stair units & support systems using basic hand tools.
  • Must be capable of lifting 60 lbs. and team lift 130 lbs., DAILY
  • Team player with positive attitude
  • Maintain clean equipment and work areas
