About The Position

Dynalectric Arizona offers a comprehensive range of electrical solutions, spanning planning, construction, installation, and integration of advanced electrical, controls, and telecommunications systems. We are looking for talented, motivated electrical and construction professionals to join our team. Dynalectric-Arizona is establishing a Fabrication space to produce select product families in-house, utilizing CNC equipment such as routers, punches, lasers, press brakes, plate rolls, welders, and automated material storage systems. We are seeking an enthusiastic, technically minded individual with assembly experience and a desire to grow to join our team as an Assembly Technician. In this role, you will be responsible for the final assembly of products before shipping, acting as the last line of defense for quality control. You will collaborate with other production departments to ensure product quality, identify areas for improvement, and maintain the smooth operation of the assembly cell to satisfy internal and external customers.

Responsibilities

  • Set up, operate, and troubleshoot all equipment in the Assembly cell.
  • Follow detailed instructions and use various tools for assembly.
  • Manage detailed inventory and highlight any supply chain issues.
  • Select the correct details for the part being assembled.
  • Suggest better methods and tooling for the assembly process.
  • Manipulate products using lifting devices and automatic equipment.
  • Electronically document and track the status of work and finished product.
  • Inspect finished products to ensure they meet quality and print specifications.
  • Test final assembly for proper fit up and functioning.
  • Work closely with fabrication to improve the quality of parts and ease of assembly.
  • Work closely with production control to understand production requirements.
  • Communicate effectively with team members and management.
  • Stay updated with the latest techniques and technologies applicable to your equipment and role.
  • Stay up to date on new tooling, fixturing, and assembly practices.
  • Participate in training sessions and workshops to enhance skills.
  • Perform regular maintenance on equipment in the cell.
  • Diagnose and resolve issues with equipment, and coordinate with management as required.
  • Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines of Dynalectric and the equipment fabrication.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
  • Perform other duties as required.
  • Cross-train in other areas to help support production requirements.
