About The Position

This role involves performing highly complex mechanical assembly, requiring fitting, aligning, and adjusting components to close tolerances. The technician will utilize knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, fluids, and/or electronic principles, with some soldering expertise. Responsibilities include troubleshooting, tear-down analysis, and rework operations. The position may also involve training in Clean Room techniques and performing various marking operations using specialized equipment. All other assigned duties are also part of the role.

Requirements

Read, write, speak, and understand English.
Possess good manual dexterity.
Ability to work with detailed blueprints, procedures, assembly sketches, or other written/verbal instructions of simple complexity.
Basic math skills for calculating simple percentages related to adjustment of set pressures.
Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables where only limited standardization exists.
Perform moderate troubleshooting with minimal supervision.
Ability to embrace change and participate in continuous improvement activity.
High School Graduate or GED equivalent.

Nice To Haves

If position is designated for FAA Repair Station, safety sensitive functions experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

Perform mechanical assembly, including fitting, aligning, and adjusting components and/or assemblies to close tolerance.
Apply knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, fluids, and/or electronic principles with soldering expertise.
Conduct troubleshooting, tear down analysis, and rework operations.
Potentially be trained/proficient in Clean Room techniques.
Perform various marking operations using machines, hand stamp, and electro etching equipment.
Perform all other duties as assigned.
