The Assembly Technician IV role is responsible for assembling, wiring, and modifying work according to specific guidelines for medium- and high-voltage, indoor and outdoor assemblies, breaker and auxiliary compartments, breakers, customer service orders, power modules, and related sub-assemblies. This includes assembling, wiring, fitting, and modifying highly complex assemblies, such as Special Assemblies, Power Company units, and Pull and Switch Sections, demonstrating advanced technical understanding. The role also involves completing various checklists (ISO, quality, customer, feedback, production), mounting and installing electrical equipment, performing wiring operations, and handling components with heavy copper parts. The technician will maintain Kanban inventory levels, inspect assemblies for quality and security, respond to change notices and customer adjustments, and support engineering teams with development efforts. Work will be performed from manufacturing information, electrical and mechanical drawings, sketches, and written or verbal instructions, following established procedures. Unit drawings will be retrieved using ENOVIA.
