About The Position

The Shop Technician must be able to assemble, disassemble and repair specific product lines. To perform the job properly the Shop Technician must have the ability to use common hand and power tools and be able to follow directions. The position requires self-direction, focus, and a strong desire to work within a team environment. This position will be responsible for assembling hydraulic systems, pumps, ptos, valves, and hydraulic hoses. Job duties will also include work such as shipping / receiving freight and pulling orders. Our shop is climate controlled with heat & air conditioning.

Requirements

High School Diploma or GED.
Mechanical aptitude.
Familiarity with hand and power tools.
Detail oriented to provide the highest level of quality.
Strong sense of urgency and basic ability to prioritize in order to meet the expectations of the customer.

Responsibilities

Assemble fundamental components in accordance to the work instructions utilizing a combination of hand tools, power tools, and equipment.
Measure, cut and prepare hydraulic hoses in accordance with the work instructions utilizing a combination of hand tools, power tools and equipment.
Assemble, kit and ship hydraulic components to meet established standards for quality, quantity, efficiency, and customer specifications consistently and correctly.
Communicate with appropriate parties in relation to expedited orders, component quality issues, inventory records, etc.
Participate in the implementation of process improvements.
Participate in maintaining and suggesting safety practices and procedures.
Maintain an orderly work environment.
Maintain system accuracy and record transactions in ERP operating system.
Participate as a team member to achieve goals.
Other duties as assigned.
