About The Position

Requirements

  • Experience with air and pneumatic tools
  • Ability to set-up, adjust, and/or changeover equipment
  • Understanding of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), Work Rules, and Plant Safety Rules
  • Ability to perform inspections and take appropriate action when out of tolerance situations occur
  • Willingness to collaborate with team members and supervisors
  • Willingness to participate in training and cross-training

Responsibilities

  • Use a variety of air and pneumatic tools to assembly components for marine engines, service parts, and assemblies
  • Set-up, adjust, and/or changeover equipment with appropriate tools common to the particular job
  • Maintain a clean and safe working area in accordance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), Work Rules, and Plant Safety Rules
  • Perform inspection common to the classification at required intervals
  • Take appropriate action when out of tolerance situations occur and notify appropriate individuals when further action must be taken
  • Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet production goals and resolve issues.
  • Participate in training and cross-training to support flexible workforce needs.
