Requirements

  • HS Diploma or GED Equivalent from an accredited institution
  • Experience with required tools for the production process is required
  • Knowledge of the production process is required
  • Proven dependability, performance, and attendance is required
  • Ability to read, understand, and convey work instructions to team members is required
  • Must be willing to be utilized in other departments and production roles as necessary

Nice To Haves

  • Effective written and verbal communication skills
  • Forklift certification is preferred
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Experience with drilling, tapping, measuring, mechanical assembly, or similar precision manufacturing work.
  • Experience using cranes, lifting fixtures, rigging points, or coordinated material handling in a manufacturing environment.
  • Ability to identify unsafe lifting conditions, poor part support, damaged tooling, and potential quality risks before work continues.
  • Knowledgeable in JUPITER BACH/OSHA Safety Requirements

Responsibilities

  • Model Jupiter Bach’s hierarchy of operation SQDC (Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost)
  • Take responsibility of subordinate team members adherence to SQDC hierarchy
  • Meet with manager and/or supervisor daily for schedule and updates
  • Ensure that the team is operating under current work instruction guidelines
  • Verify proper use of Drill & Tap templates, fixtures, gauges, drill stops, tape measures, tooling, and required hardware.
  • Confirm drilled and tapped holes meet requirements for size, location, depth, thread quality, and cleanliness.
  • Identify and escalate oversized holes, mislocated holes, damaged threads, over-drilling, and other nonconforming conditions.
  • Support safe crane movement of panels, fixtures, and assemblies within the Drill & Tap process.
  • Provide accurate hands-on-training to team members as needed
  • Perform quality inspections, and correct subpar quality items before releasing to the next department
  • Accurately complete all required paperwork and turn in daily as required by manager or supervisor
  • Responsible for maintaining and securing tools daily
  • Perform audits accurately and on time as scheduled
  • Responsible for team’s adherence to scheduled breaks
  • Responsible for maintaining acceptable level of cleanliness of production area daily
  • Inventory of production items as required by manager
  • Adheres to the safety rules of JUPITER BACH
  • Other duties as assigned
