About The Position

Seolta Holdings, LLC (Proud Builders of MJM Yachts) is currently hiring for positions in their Assembly department, specifically in Final Assembly (Electricians) and Open Hull. The role involves assembling fiberglass hulls, decks, small parts, purchased parts, and pre-assembled components to create a completed boat. Key tasks include installing decks, hardware components, bilge systems, water, hydraulic and fuel fittings, hoses, tanks, and connections. The position also requires performing electrical assembly of consoles, installing and connecting electrical wiring and components, and installing major subassemblies such as dash and hardtop modules, windshields, and seating/upholstery. Employees will utilize a variety of hand power/air tools, saws, grinders, and other necessary tools. Locating parts is done by hand or using detailed blueprints, standard work, tools, and/or fixtures. Work must follow specific job instructions, specifications, and technical work documents, with frequent reading and providing verbal and/or written status of part completion/installation. Proficiency in handling and applying sealants, adhesives, and primers, along with proper disposal, is essential. Additionally, the role requires knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform a full range of rigging duties, considering factors such as the size, shape, and location of the object, and the availability and strength of overhead support structures.

Requirements

  • Must have boat building experience or related experience with the departments listed above (Final Assembly (Open Hull- Mechanical Plumbing, Final Assembly, Electricians)).

Responsibilities

  • Assembles fiberglass hulls, decks, and small parts, purchased parts, and pre-assembled components into a completed boat.
  • Installs decks, hardware components, bilge systems, water, hydraulic and fuel fittings, hoses, tanks, and connections.
  • Performs electrical assembly of consoles, installs, and connects electrical wiring and components.
  • Installs major subassemblies such as dash and hardtop modules, windshields, seating/upholstery, etc.
  • Uses a variety of hand power/air tools, saws, grinders, and other tools as necessary.
  • Locating parts by hand or utilizing detailed blueprints, standard work, tools, and/or fixtures.
  • Works following specific job instructions, specifications, technical work documents, blueprints, frequently reading, and providing verbal and/or written status of part completion/installation.
  • Must be proficient in handling and application of sealants, adhesives, and primers, along with proper disposal.
