2nd Shift Assembly Team Lead

We are currently seeking a Team Lead to join our 2nd shift to support daily operations in our baggage door department. In this role, you will lead the team in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and oversee router, press brake, and assembly processes. You will be responsible for hands-on work as well as leading the team to meet production, quality, and safety goals. The right person for this position will have excellent communication and decision-making skills, the ability to self-manage and multitask, and the ability to foster a positive team environment. Requirements
- Previous manufacturing/assembly experience
- Prior leadership or team lead experience
- Strong understanding of blueprint reading
- High attention to detail
- Strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills
Nice To Haves
- Bilingual preferred with strong communication skills
Responsibilities
- Lead, coach and support a team of approximately 10 team members across 3 departments
- Ensure daily production goals are met while maintaining quality standards
- Assist with hands on assembly by using hand and measuring tools
- Assist with running a router and aluminum press brake
- Read and interpret blueprints
- Train new team members and support ongoing development
