About The Position

Assembles a variety of components to create finished products. Operates manual and automated equipment and follows standardized work and process documentation to meet customer expectations and production goals. Works within a team-based system, rotating jobs as needed and completing work with minimal supervision. The role includes routine housekeeping and operator care, identifying and controlling nonconforming materials, analyzing operating data, participating in problem-solving and improvement projects, and communicating with team members and support teams. The position is for second shift and requires evening work and some overtime.

Requirements

High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
Must pass all related testing.
Must be able to work evenings and some overtime.
Must be able to work at some heights.
Must be able to pass a physical for breathable air equipment.

Nice To Haves

Six months of work experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Operate manual and automated equipment to assemble products to the required characteristics and dimensions.
Follow standardized work and process documentation.
Work as a team member to meet safety, quality, cost, and delivery goals, including taking on team representative responsibilities.
Maintain a clean and orderly work area; complete routine housekeeping, machine cleaning, and planned operator care and maintenance tasks.
Perform rework and scrap transactions, process external rework transactions, and identify and control nonconforming materials.
Collect, analyze, and display operating data; use common problem-solving techniques when issues arise.
Use material handling equipment, including hoists, and perform hoist inspections; use forklifts to move parts and skids.
Follow departmental, site, and company policies and procedures, including requirements for personal protective equipment.
Participate in training and personal development and assist with training department personnel.
Participate in improvement projects and apply problem-solving techniques individually or with a team.
Communicate effectively with the assigned team and support teams.
Maintain housekeeping and safety in work areas.
Perform other miscellaneous duties as required and remain flexible to complete the work.
Complete work with minimal supervision in a team-based system and rotate job routines as needed.
