The Assembly QC Inspector will perform detailed visual and workmanship inspections of printed circuit board assemblies, including SMT, through-hole, and mixed-technology assemblies. This role requires reading and interpreting assembly drawings, BOMs, Statements of Work (SOWs), Special Assembly Instructions (SAIs), customer specifications, and other manufacturing documentation. The inspector will use inspection tools, equipment, and applicable electronic systems to verify that PCB assemblies meet required quality and customer standards. Additionally, the role involves identifying, documenting, and communicating defects, discrepancies, and nonconforming material to appropriate Quality, Production, and Engineering personnel, and accurately completing and maintaining required inspection records, reports, and quality documentation in accordance with company and customer requirements. Work must be performed in accordance with applicable IPC standards, internal procedures, ESD requirements, ITAR requirements, and other regulatory or customer requirements.
