About The Position

Assembles a variety of components to create an end product. Operates manual and automated equipment to assemble product, ensuring proper characteristics and dimensions to meet customer expectations. Follows standardized work and processes documentation. Participates as a team member to operate and manage assembly to meet safety, quality, cost, and delivery goals. Maintains a clean and orderly work area, including routine housekeeping and machine cleaning tasks. Performs planned operator care and maintenance tasks. Performs rework, scrap transactions, external rework transactions, and identifies/controls nonconforming materials. Collects, analyzes, and displays operating data, engaging in formal problem-solving techniques when issues arise. Uses material handling equipment, including hoists and forklifts, to move parts and skids. Complies with departmental, site, and company policies and procedures, including proper wear and use of required personal protective equipment. Participates in training and personal development, assisting in training department personnel. Participates in improvement projects, using common problem-solving techniques. Communicates effectively with the assigned team and support teams. Maintains housekeeping and safety in work areas. Remains flexible and performs other miscellaneous duties as required. Completes work with minimal supervision. Operates within a team-based work system and rotates job routines as needed.

Requirements

  • High school diploma, GED or equivalent required.
  • Must pass all related testing.
  • Minimal relevant experience required.
  • Six months work experience preferred.
  • Orientation required.
  • PIV license required.
  • Must be able to work 7 days a week.
  • Blockline experience preferred.
  • Resume and interview process.
  • Must attend an on-shift orientation.
  • Successful candidates must remain in the position for a minimum of 18 months before regaining bid rights.
  • Must pass all related testing, if applicable.
