This salary role is a part of our plant operations team and reports to the Operations Manager.

Requirements

Knowledge of manufacturing, stamping, and/or assembly processes required for this position.
Two to five years of manufacturing leadership, preferred.
Excellent organizational, analytical and communication skills.
Ability to prioritize responsibilities in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to mentor and teach the team in effective problem-solving methods.
Proven leadership ability.

Responsibilities

Provide direction and leadership to department colleagues consistent with plant and department business plan goals.
Provide mentoring, coaching and development for colleagues.
Provide direction and leadership to shift colleagues consistently with plant business plan goals.
Responsible for maintaining maximum levels of production utilization and efficiency.
Responsible for providing productivity reports, scrap reports, downtime reports and other reports as determined by the Operations Manager.
Provide the proactive leadership necessary to achieve and maintain a continuous improvement mind set for the team.
