About The Position

This role is responsible for production efficiency in Assembly and will lead the industrialization for new product programs. The position involves capitalizing on and sharing industrial process know-how, participating in the design of new equipment and lines, performing equipment trials, and delivering reports. A key focus will be on cycle time reduction to optimize investment, material, and labor costs. The role also includes supporting production technicians with training and problem-solving, and participating in Valeo Production System workshops to identify bottlenecks and propose solutions.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical, Electrical Engineering or another Engineering discipline
• 2+ years relevant experience
• Experience with manufacturing equipment and ergonomics

Nice To Haves

• Experience with PLCs and robotic programming
• Experience working with outside vendors on quote preparation and procuring process improvement equipment
• Experience writing and implementing work instructions, PFMEA, process validation plan and control plan and all process documentation

• Responsible for production efficiency in Assembly
