About The Position

The Assembly & Packing Associate performs light assembly and packing of metal stamped parts in a manufacturing environment. This is an entry-level role — no prior manufacturing experience is required, and on-the-job training is provided. This position works in close proximity to stamping presses, automated equipment, and other production machinery, and always requires strict adherence to safety protocols.

Requirements

Ability to follow simple verbal and visual work instructions
Basic counting and sorting skills
Willingness to learn and work as part of a team
Must be able to pass a pre-employment background check and drug screening
Must be willing to work overtime, including weekends, as production demands require
Reliable attendance and punctuality are essential functions of this role

Nice To Haves

High school diploma, GED, or equivalent preferred (not required)
Prior experience in a warehouse, production, assembly, or packing environment
Basic familiarity with hand tools

Responsibilities

Perform light assembly of metal stamped parts and components following simple visual instructions or examples
Visually inspect parts for obvious defects and set aside/report any concerns to a Lead or Supervisor
Pack finished parts into boxes, bins, or containers according to packaging instructions
Label, count, and stack packaged parts as directed
Keep the work area clean, organized, and free of hazards (5S standards)
Follow all safety rules, including PPE requirements and staying clear of designated machine zones
Report any equipment issues, safety concerns, or quality problems to a Lead or Supervisor
Move between assembly or packing stations as production needs require
Communicate with team members and supervisors about production status
Perform other duties as assigned
