About The Position

AIT Home Delivery is seeking independent contractors for the assembly and installation of various indoor and outdoor consumer products. These contractors provide final delivery, assembly, and/or repair services for high-end companies, working directly with consumers in their homes. The role involves assembling products such as treadmills, ellipticals, furniture, playsets, pergolas, gazebos, resin sheds, and in-ground basketball hoops. Contractors have the flexibility to choose preferred product types and can increase work volume by servicing both indoor and outdoor products, which can be seasonal.

Requirements

Must have reliable transportation to go to and from order locations
Must own hand and power tools
Must have the experience and mechanical aptitude to build products to manufacturer specifications
Must have an EIN (federal tax ID)
Comply with insurance, vehicle registrations
DOT /MC numbers may be required for GVWR over 10,000 lbs.
Must comply with your state laws for the vehicle being used to complete work
Pass Background and Drug Screens (for all contractors including helpers)
Pass MVR (for all driving contractors)
Be committed to providing exceptional customer service
Be tech savvy with a mobile phone
Possess excellent communication skills

Responsibilities

Build indoor and outdoor products
Arrive at customer homes to assemble products such as treadmills, ellipticals, furniture, playsets, pergolas, gazebos, resin sheds, In-ground basketball hoops, and similar products
Handle seasonal products
Pick the product type they prefer to install/assemble throughout the year
Service both indoor and outdoor products to receive more work
