Assembly Operator
About The Position
We are looking for entry-level Assemblers/Electronic Wirers who will fabricate and assemble electrical systems and support structures. This role involves assembling electrical or electronic systems and support structures, adjusting, repairing, or replacing component parts to correct defects and ensure conformance to specifications. You will read and interpret schematic drawings and work orders to determine materials requirements and assembly instructions, connect electrical wiring between components according to the wiring print, specification sheet, and Bill of Material, and measure and cut wire to accurate length. Additionally, you will mark and tag components for inventory tracking, prepare finished product for shipping by packaging and touching up paint, assist in loading product if required, and perform ongoing housekeeping duties to keep the work area clean and orderly.
Requirements
- Ability to obtain and maintain fork truck license if required.
- Able to learn to read tape measure and electrical point-to-point prints.
- Able to read and comprehend somewhat complex instructions.
- Able to write notes or simple correspondence.
- Able to effectively communicate information to coworkers.
Nice To Haves
- High school diploma or equivalency (GED) preferred, but not required.
