About The Position

Under direct supervision, the Assembly Operator performs routine and repetitive assembly operations and processes. This role requires availability for 1st shift, with shifts determined by business needs. The position is on-site and requires U.S. citizenship due to access to information under specific programs/contracts.

Requirements

Requires HS Diploma or equivalent. In the absence of a HS diploma or equivalent, 2 years of relevant experience is required.
U.S. Person (U.S. citizen, permanent resident, or granted refugee or asylee status).
Must be willing and able to work 1st shift.

Responsibilities

Perform machine and/or manual assembly.
Scope, soldering, and computer work required.
Perform unique assembly processes.
Accurately read and follow procedures, routing, and other work instructions.
Take ownership of accuracy of processes.
Meet internal and external customer deadlines as determined by team.
Build parts that meet drawing specifications.
Comply with applicable elements of quality systems (ACE).
Demonstrate initiative to keep processes moving and on schedule.
Understand and use computer tools such as SAP and accurately follow work instructions.
Achieve special process certification where applicable.
Demonstrate a proactive role in problem solving.
Pursue certifications in continuous improvement (ACE).
Interface with other functional groups to update, inform, acknowledge, or resolve problems related to production issues.
Effectively interact with others.
Participate in cost reduction plans.
Participate in waste minimization efforts.
Participate in audits.
May be required to be on feet for long periods of time.
Must be able to effectively work in an environment requiring repetitive job responsibilities.
Ability to focus on safety and quality is extremely important.
Must be able to lift and carry up to 25 pounds.
