Do you want to help us build the DNA of tech.? Vishay Thin Film is currently seeking applicants for a 1st shift Assembly Operator. Job Location: Vishay Thin Film is located in Niagara Falls, NY. The site has a lot of natural beauty to offer including the world-famous Niagara Falls which are just a short drive away!
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to read and write in order to understand production documents
- Ability to multi-task is required
- Basic math skills required
- Computer skills required
- Close attention to detail skills required
- This position requires access to information subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations and/or the Export Administration Regulations. As such, this position is open only to applicants who qualify as “U.S. Persons” as defined by 22 C.F.R. §120.15 is required. “U.S. Person” includes U.S. Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.”
Responsibilities
- Assemble company product per customer requirements and job requirements
- Use appropriate company documentation to determine specific assembly requirements of product being manufactured
- Acquire necessary raw material for appropriate production areas
- Complete necessary paperwork, record completion of tasks to accompany parts supplied to next department
