About The Position

IMS Gear, a leading producer of gear technologies for the automotive industry, is seeking a talented and motivated individual to join their team as a 1st Shift Assembly Operator. The ideal candidate will be responsible for keeping the assembly process running as well as ensuring the quality of their product. This is a full-time position with the hours of 6:55 am to 3:05 pm, located in Gainesville, GA.

Nice To Haves

Work experience in a high volume manufacturing environment, 1-2 years preferred

Responsibilities

Assembling products
Equipping assembly line with parts
Inspecting and refilling material
Inspecting and packing finished parts
Cleaning and maintenance of equipment and tools
Quality inspection
Production reporting
Ensure compliance with company environmental and quality management systems, including ISO 14001 and IATF 16949 standards.
Team Work – working in a Team to fulfill daily production goals
Escalation of issues to supervisor and manager
Following Internal Quality Issues procedure – IQI
Ensuring First in – First out
Housekeeping – 6IMS-Standard.
Ensuring safety rules and policies are followed
Other duties assigned
