We have an opportunity for an Assembly Operator II to join our White Bear Lake, MN team. You will be responsible for supporting operations functions including Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost, and Cash while performing assigned manufacturing tasks and contributing to overall production performance. You will perform basic production and assembly tasks developing foundational skills.

Requirements

  • 1 – 2 years of manufacturing or related experience
  • Demonstrate working knowledge of basic mechanical principles and assembly processes.
  • Requires both written and verbal communication skills in English
  • Proficient in the safe and proper use of common assembly tools, including but not limited to: torque wrenches, power tools, hand tools, and measurement devices (calipers, gauges, etc.).
  • Ability to read and interpret basic to moderately complex engineering drawings, blueprints, and work instructions.
  • Understands component fit, alignment, and torque requirements to ensure product quality and functionality.
  • Capable of identifying and troubleshooting minor mechanical issues during assembly and escalating as needed.
  • Applies knowledge of fixtures, jigs, and standardized tooling to ensure consistent and efficient assembly.
  • Standing, walking, twisting at the waist, lifting, and lowering weights up to 40lbs.
  • Steel toed shoes are required on the distribution floor.

Responsibilities

  • Work with minimal supervision and cross-trained across multiple stations
  • Follow work instructions, work orders, and route packets
  • Operate equipment and perform assembly tasks per procedures
  • Inspect parts and processes to ensure quality standards are met
  • Follow 5S and Lean manufacturing practices
  • Meet production targets while maintaining quality
  • Verify parts and assemblies meet specifications using visual inspection and measurement tools.
