About The Position
This position is responsible for preparing sub-assemblies and finished products according to blueprints and customers specification, using hand and air tools. The role involves assembling products and operating equipment such as hand tools, air tools, and possible woodworking machinery. The individual will identify and select correct tooling/hardware for the job task with set-up documents or lead/supervisor assistance. Responsibilities include reporting production and/or equipment issues, learning and operating/assembling all products in the department, reading blueprints and basic wiring diagrams, safely moving materials, cleaning and maintaining an orderly work area, and communicating and assisting other individuals when needed. The role also includes performing other duties as assigned by Management.
Requirements
- H.S. Diploma and/or manufacturing experience required.
- Basic reading, writing and arithmetic skills required.
- Must be able to read and understand blueprints, tape measure, and other shop drawing aids and equipment.
- Understanding and support of Company policies and procedures.
- Excellent attendance.
- Ability to work with various types of assembly constraints with guidance.
- Must be able to pass pre-employment drug screen.

- Certified by Multilink to use a forklift.
Responsibilities

- Report any production, and/or equipment issues to lead/supervisor or quality.
- Learn and operate/assemble all products in the dept.
- Read blueprints.
- Understand basic wiring diagrams and connection points called out on blueprints or models.
- Safely move materials using forklift (If certified by Multilink) and/or pallet jack.
- Clean and maintain an orderly work area.
- Communicate and assist other individuals in areas when needed and have been fully trained.
- Perform all other duties as assigned to by Management.
