About The Position

As an Assembly Mechanic Level 2 FAA here at Honeywell, you will play a vital role in assembling, testing, and ensuring the quality of mechanical and electromechanical components and systems. Your expertise will contribute to the efficient production and delivery of high-quality products that meet customer specifications and industry standards. You will report directly to our Production Supervisor and you’ll work out of our Phoenix, Arizona location on an on-site work schedule. 2nd Shift 1400-2230 M-F In this role, you will impact the overall manufacturing process by ensuring precise assembly and adherence to quality standards, which supports Honeywell’s commitment to delivering reliable and innovative solutions to our customers.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in mechanical assembly or related manufacturing roles, preferably at a level 2 or equivalent.
  • Strong knowledge of mechanical assembly techniques, tools, and equipment.
  • Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings, schematics, and work instructions accurately.
  • Experience with quality control processes and the ability to identify defects or assembly issues.
  • Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and basic measurement instruments used in assembly.

Nice To Haves

  • technical or vocational training in mechanical assembly is a plus.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced manufacturing or production environment.
  • Attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and follow safety protocols.
  • Basic knowledge of Lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement initiatives.

Responsibilities

  • Assemble mechanical and electromechanical components according to engineering specifications and work instructions.
  • Perform quality checks and tests on assembled products to ensure compliance with standards.
  • Identify and troubleshoot assembly issues and collaborate with engineering and quality teams to resolve them.
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment following company safety policies and procedures.
  • Document assembly processes and report production data accurately.
