About The Position

Interpret prints, charts, sketches, work instructions, and other technical documents to complete assignments. Use shop mathematics, precision measuring tools, and functional testing to verify assemblies and components. Utilize tooling and equipment to assemble components into sub-assemblies or final products. Verify work meets process and engineering specifications; document and report discrepancies. Ensure equipment and tooling are certified and maintained; perform routine preventative maintenance. Move products within the manufacturing area and support continuous product flow. Train and assist other assembly personnel in assembly, installation, inspection, and techniques. Cross-train in inspection and become SIA qualified. Set up and operate conventional and CNC fastening equipment (less than 3-axis). Perform specialty assembly tasks such as doors, integral fuel cell sealing, precision bench assembly, and pressure/vacuum testing.

Requirements

  • Multi-layer layup and fuselage integration experience.
  • Proficiency with assembly/installation of structural components, sub-assemblies, and sealing processes.
  • Ability to work within scheduled timeframes and meet production flow requirements.
  • Strong attention to detail and adherence to quality and safety standards.
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen (as defined by ITAR).

  • Cross-train in inspection and become SIA qualified.
