About The Position

Apply today, work tomorrow, and get paid weekly! We're hiring now for an Assembly/Machine Operator in Garland, TX. This role involves carrying out production, inspection, packaging, and machine operation duties. You will be responsible for setting up, calibrating, maintaining, and repairing machinery and machine tools, ensuring machine parts meet specifications, and operating both manual and automated machines. The job also includes running test products for quality assurance, overseeing the production process, finishing pieces as necessary, and maintaining daily activity logs. Proper disposal and recycling of waste according to company and state environmental policy are also required.

Requirements

Assembly/Machine Operator experience preferred
Able to work in the US
Strong knowledge of machines in a manufacturing setting
Able to pass a background check

Responsibilities

Carry out production, inspection, packaging and machine operation duties
Set-up, calibrate, maintain, and repair machinery and machine tools as needed
Align and place tools, cutters, guides, and stops correctly in the machine
Ensure machine parts are made to correct specifications by reading design manuals, blueprints, sketches, etc.
Operate manual machinery and oversee automated machines
Run test products to ensure quality and accuracy of production meets the set standard
Place and secure mobile fixtures and materials onto machine
Oversee machines, belts, any moving pieces, etc. during the production process and adjust speed and/or movements as needed
Observe and monitor input/output, accuracy, and efficiency of the machine
Finish pieces by grinding, smoothing or shaping as necessary
Keep a daily activity log of production notes (including totals, defects, etc.)
Dispose of and/or recycle any waste in line with company and state environmental policy
