About The Position

As an essential business, Anomatic produces innovative and sustainable packaging for today’s biggest brands. By leveraging over five decades of manufacturing expertise and employing an extensive technologies portfolio, we design, manufacture, and finish incomparable stock and customized solutions for numerous markets. The Assembly Machine Operator is responsible for operating the Assembly/Print machines. Troubleshoots minor operating difficulties including: analyzing machine operations, inspection of products, locating troublesome elements within machines, making necessary mechanical adjustments to eliminate quality variations and mechanical malfunctions.

Requirements

  • Ability to maintain good attendance
  • Ability to differentiate between colors
  • Basic Math skills
  • Comfortable using a computer windows-based system
  • Demonstrated understanding of quality control concepts and processes within a manufacturing environment
  • Work well under pressure
  • Good manual dexterity and hand/eye coordination
  • Able to work overtime, sometimes on short notice
  • Ability to successfully complete all required training

Responsibilities

  • Operating the Assembly/Print machines.
  • Troubleshooting minor operating difficulties including: analyzing machine operations, inspection of products, locating troublesome elements within machines, making necessary mechanical adjustments to eliminate quality variations and mechanical malfunctions.
  • Ability to judge quality in all aspects
  • Ability to read and understand job cards
  • Ability to use a computer to complete data entry activities as needed
  • Provide timely and complete communication with Team Leaders and all other impacted operational and functional teams regarding quality or mechanical issues
  • Ability to meet production standards once trained
  • Ability to make minor adjustments to machines to maintain quality standards
  • Inspect and pack finished parts properly
  • Ability to distinguish between different colors and shades of color
  • Ability to detect small defects as in scratches, dents, smudges, etc.
  • Use computer-based systems to enter production information
  • Maintain a clean work area
  • Other duties as required
