About The Position

Build What Keeps People Safe and Comfortable At Worthington Enterprises in Jefferson, you’ll help manufacture cylinders that power heating systems, enable refrigerant recovery, and support fire suppression. We’re growing our 2nd (3pm–11pm, Monday–Friday) and 3rd (11pm–7am, Sunday–Thursday) shift teams and looking for dependable makers who care about quality and safety.

Requirements

  • Comfort with physical, repetitive work and standing for extended periods.
  • Strong hand–eye coordination and attention to detail.
  • Basic math and computer literacy.
  • Ability to read and follow detailed instructions; familiarity with part numbers, sizes, and quality checks.
  • Basic English proficiency is required to read safety instructions, understand work orders, and communicate with supervisors and coworkers.
  • Ability to follow verbal and written instructions in English.

Nice To Haves

  • Forklift and crane licenses are a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Assemble parts, conduct basic testing, and keep materials flowing to each workstation.
  • Operate or support welding, press room, and paint line processes.
  • Follow detailed work instructions and standard operating procedures to produce safe, high‑quality parts.
  • Spot defects, correct issues, and accurately count, label, and handle small parts.
  • Champion safety by following all policies, procedures, and protective measures.
