About The Position

The Assembly Lead Operator directs and coordinates activities in processing materials or manufacturing products. This role is responsible for maintaining an effective and efficient workforce by organizing and allocating team members based on production demands. The position also ensures a safe, clean, and orderly workplace in compliance with all regulations, and has the authority to stop production to correct quality problems. Troubleshooting is a key aspect to ensure quality standards are met during the production of molded parts, and all materials must be maintained for production. The role also involves operating a forklift safely and performing other duties as assigned by the Operations Manager.

Requirements

• Must possess the analytical and problem-solving skills necessary to perform the job.
• Must have trouble shooting capabilities.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Must be able to lift/push/pull up to 75lbs.
• Operate Forklift safely.

Nice To Haves

• Direct experience in production is preferred.
• At least three to five years of manufacturing experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Ensures conformity to production requirements with the authority to stop production to correct quality problems.

• Ensures all materials are maintained for production.
• Operates Forklift safely.
• Performs other duties as assigned by Operations Manager.
